Amber's Maggie Mae

This is my first Maggie Mae tunic. I made it for Amber and she loves it!

This pattern can be made as a tunic or a dress and has pockets, which are a big hit.

Plus, the designers over at Shwin & Shwin offer several free tutorials on altering the pattern to create other looks.
This top is much cuter on than on the hanger, it's one of my favorites on her!

Thanksgiving Olivia's

I made Thanksgiving outfits for my 3 and 5 yr old this year.

A top for Amber and a dress for Aly.

I used The Olivia top and dress pattern pattern by Jess at Craftiness Is Not Optional. I love this pattern! It's versatile, with 2 lengths and 3 sleeve options, and a pretty quick sew.

A rustic ruffled fitted tablecloth

I've been wanting to make this tablecloth for about a year and finally got it done!

I love the rustic look of the raw edges and the elegant look of the ruffles.

I think if I ever make another one I will make it about half an inch bigger all around the top. Even though I pre-washed the fabric, it shrunk a little when I washed the finished tablecloth and ended up a little bit snug around the corners. Also, I would reinforce the corners, I may have to come up with some creative patches sooner than I'd like.
